Any Momtech Service which links to this Privacy Policy is covered. This Privacy Policy does not cover, and we are not responsible for, third-party websites or applications that may be linked from the Services we provide. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy of every website and mobile application that you visit or use.

Information You Provide to Us

You may browse many sections of our Services without providing any Personal Information about yourself. However, if you choose to use our Services that require you to create an account, we may collect the following types of personal information (“Personal Information”) directly from you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Mailing address
  • Username and/or password
  • Demographic information

If you choose to share information about yourself in a public forum, such as through a social media platform like Facebook or Twitter, or in any user-generated content with our Services, we consider that information to be public and not private. Others with access may read, collect and use that information. You assume the risk that your information may be read, collected and shared by such other parties.

We may also collect Personal Information when you enter a sweepstake, giveaway, or other promotion utilizing our Services or using third-party websites to access or Services, sign up for email communications, participate in a survey, contact customer service, engage in a promotion online or otherwise interact with our Services.

We may collect certain Personal Information or other technical data from your computer or mobile device when you use our Services. We receive information from your device, including but not limited to IP address, web browser and operating systems, mobile operating system version (to the extent applicable), and other unique device identifiers. We may also collect and store your browser settings and preferences.

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We use Shopify to power our online store. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here:
  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
  • We may share your Personal Information with other third parties that support our fulfillment, marketing, and analytics.

Information We Automatically Collect From You

We may automatically collect information about your interactions with our Services and may combine this information with other information about you in order to customize your online experience with us. The information we automatically collect may include your IP address, referring URLs, browser and device characteristics, browsing behavior (e.g., date and time of visit, length of visit, clicks on product information or other content) and your response to our email campaigns (e.g., whether and when you open our email, the links you click). We may use cookies, and other similar industry standard technologies to capture this information. A “cookie” is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer or device. Among other things, cookies allow us to facilitate the administration and improve the effectiveness of our Services as well as further tailor and enhance your experience to your interests. You may set your browser to decline cookies. If you do so, you may not be able to experience certain interactive features of our Services fully.

We may also use third-party analytics companies, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Amazon Web Services (“AWS”), among others, to analyze the usage of our Services for internal purposes. These analytics companies may use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to collect data about how you use our Services and provide us with aggregate information on such usage, which helps us improve the performance of our Services. Please review Google’s privacy policy, Adobe’s privacy policy, or AWS Privacy to learn more about each company’s privacy practices.

We may also permit other third parties to gather information automatically on our Services for advertising purposes, as described below in Interest-Based Advertising.

Interest-Based Advertising

We may allow third parties to use cookies and other online tracking tools to better understand your behavior and browsing activities, so that we can provide you with targeted advertising (also referred to as “interest-based advertising”) while utilizing our Services and display our ads to you when you visit other sites. These third parties may passively collect information with these tools so that content specific to your interests can be delivered to you online.

You can prevent your receipt of interest-based ads by deleting and declining cookies in your browser. If you block cookies, certain features on our Sites may not work. Please note that cookie-based opt-outs are not effective in mobile applications. However, on many mobile devices, application users may opt-out of certain mobile ads via their device settings.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Our Services do not currently take actions to respond to Do Not Track signals because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed. We continue to review new technologies and may adopt a standard once one is created.

While visiting certain features of our Services, you may be given the opportunity to provide feedback regarding various Momtech products. You may be given opportunities to rate Momtech products and to publicly ask and answer questions pertaining to Momtech products. You may also be prompted to submit additional voluntary information, such as specific age range, gender, location, address, phone number, website, and the length of time which you have used Momtech products. This information may be linked online to your chosen username.
